What do I do?
Each wedding speech I write is unique, created with your input and re-written until you are completely happy with it. I can also write rhyming speeches or help you with something you've written yourself. I can even help you with any worries you may have about the 'performance' side to your speech. I don't provide 'ready made' or 'off the shelf' speeches as I believe a wedding speech should have a more personal touch.
How do I do it?
I send you a questionnaire asking about you, the person you're speaking about, the wedding etc. I use this as the basis for your speech. I send you the completed speech and make any changes you want me to make.
Where does it all happen?
Unless you desperately want to meet up, all work and correspondence is done by email.
Who am I?
I'm a professional writer who, as well as writing speeches, has written for a variety of TV comedy shows, had books published, etc written for magazines as well as writing full shows and audition pieces for West End performers and the corporate market. I've also been a Best Man three times and a Groom so I know what you're going through.
Why use The Speech Maker?
Speaking at a wedding can be a nervy business. I've done it myself, many times and was pretty nervous before each one. I want to help ease some of that anxiety by making sure you know your speech is excellent long before the wedding day. I'll work with you until you're completely happy and confident with your speech.
When should you make contact?
To be really comfortable, allow a month before the wedding. But there's no time like the present to get thinking about your speech, so the best time to make contact without commitment, is today!
